Swanlow Park Cemetery in Winsford, Cheshire, offers a peaceful environment for a green burial. The cemetery is home to a diversity of birds, wildlife, wildflowers and trees, and is set in the middle of the countryside, making it an ideal spot for a nature lover’s burial.

The eco friendly site offers natural burial and ashes plots and also allows the scattering of ashes. The site is open to different kinds of funerals, from a graveside service to a humanist celebration. Every grave is marked with a memorial tree and a natural York stone marker. Alternatively, families can also choose to plant a wildflower or bulb. Coffins and caskets need to made from natural, biodegradable materials such as willow, bamboo or cardboard.

Plots can be purchased in advance and the team are always happy to welcome visitors to have a tour of the premises, and can answer any questions that you may have. There is on site parking available and disabled access.
